I was excited to be selected to try the Splenda Zero Liquid Sweetener. It's a ZERO carb, ZERO sugar, & ZERO calorie sweetener in liquid form.
I like this concept of a sugar alternative
sweetener. I like that its: Liquid form, Travel size, Condensed
One little, & I do mean little squeeze is all you need to
sweeten your drink depending on 1) the size of your drink & 2) how sweet
you like your drink. For my 12 oz cup of
coffee & tea, I needed one little squeeze of the bottle.
I couldn’t believe that just one squeeze would be sweet
enough, so without tasting it first, I added more. Big mistake, because I didn’t need to. I had to start my drink over since it was way
sweeter than I thought. I learned my
lesson.
I see why this bottle comes in 50mL. One squeeze equals that of 100 packets of
SPLENDA No Calorie Sweetener. According
to its packaging, 1 squeeze is 0.25 mL/1/16 tsp). So in one bottle, you’re getting about 200
servings.
The sweetness is great.
I like it in my hot coffee, as well as my iced tea. I tried it in both to test the flavor & I
really didn’t need to add anything else to my drinks.
Prepping for a smoothie with Splenda Zero
This retails for $4.49 on their website (50 mL) bottle,
